Mark Bryce - Principal Consultant

 

 

With 30 plus years of experience in the Information Technology industry, Mark has held a number of progressive leadership roles with organisations both as a Services Solution Supplier, and an In-house provider of the IT function.

Mark is a results oriented, creative IT executive with strong business, organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. He is a highly motivated self-starter, committed to making a positive impact on company performance and advancing shareholder value.

With a solid background in service delivery, Mark has provided strategic and tactical technology consulting to a variety of Fortune 100 clients in the following sectors: Financial Services (CIBC, ABN AMRO, Woori Bank, Commonwealth Bank, CPFB, Maybank, Rbank, OneAmerica); Aviation (Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways); Pharmaceutical (Pfizer, Banyu, GSK); Manufacturing (Agilent, Clorox, Kirin, Sony), Media and Entertainment (Disney, Fairfax Digital); Telephony (SoftBank, Vodafone, Hutchinson), and the Public Sector (Government of Singapore, Government of New Zealand).

Mark previously had responsibility for leading HP Enterprise Services international pursuit teams in securing significant outsourcing services contracts with organisations such as: CIBC, Agilent, Clorox, Pfizer (Japan), All Nippon Airways, Coca Cola (Japan), Dong-Hwa (Korea), and in Australia with Amcor, Vodafone and BHP Billiton.

Mark’s business development background includes structuring and establishing joint ventures (Intria-HP); establishing alliances with Ericsson and NEC, and partnering with organisations such as Accenture, CapGemini and KPMG.

Mark has led substantive IT remediation, commercial restructuring and exit activities for $1B transactions in the Manufacturing, Telephony, Gaming, Financial Services and Public Sectors, which resulted in positive outcomes for the parties involved.

Mark has held executive positions as the Director for IT for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and also at INTRIA (a Canadian Financial Service Outsourcer), where he had financial responsibility for annual IT budget(s) in excess of $250M, and participated in significant go-to-market projects including the commoditisation of IT services and offerings.  Mark previously worked at Shell Canada and the Canadian National Railway.

Mark is a multiple award recipient based on his professional achievements.

He attended the University of Toronto, has a technology background including tenure as both a Network and Operating Systems - System Programmer combined with extensive international business expertise and political sciences studies.

Mark, a native Canadian is captain of the 2013 and 2015 Australian Men’s (55+) National Champion Ice Hockey team.  Mark and his wife live in Melbourne.
